MRI COOLİNG SYSTEMS
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machines are used to obtain detailed images inside the body using high magnetic fields and radio waves. Cooling systems are required for these devices to operate efficiently. Here are some cooling systems used in MRI machines.
1- Magnetic Resonance Cooling Unit:
These cooling units used in MRI machines are utilized to cool the magnetic coils to maintain the magnetic field. These cooling units typically use coolant gases such as liquid nitrogen or liquid helium. In these systems, cold air from outside is directed directly into the data center and cools the equipment inside. This method is commonly used for low-density data centers.
2- Magnetic Resonance Cooling Fans:
In MRI machines, magnetic resonance cooling fans help circulate air inside the device to assist in cooling components. These fans prevent components exposed to the magnetic field from overheating. In liquid cooling systems, water or another coolant liquid is applied directly to heat-producing components of the data center equipment. These liquids remove heat from the equipment, facilitating cooling. Liquid cooling systems are preferred for dense and high-performance data centers.
3- Magnetic Resonance Cooling Water Systems:
Some Mri Cooling Systems use specially designed water cooling systems for magnetic resonance cooling. These systems circulate water to cool the magnetic coils and other components, dissipating heat.
4- Compressor Cooling Systems:
Some Mri Cooling Systems use compressor cooling systems for cooling the magnetic field. These systems compress the coolant gas inside the magnetic coils to remove heat and maintain the magnetic field.
5- Coolant Liquids:
Some MRI imaging devices use special coolant liquids to cool the magnetic coils. These liquids help maintain the magnetic field, ensuring the proper operation of the device.
Cooling systems for MRI imaging devices are essential to ensure the reliable and stable operation of the device. The effective and proper functioning of these systems is necessary to obtain high-quality images and also ensures the longevity of the device. At Thrace Chiller, we offer customized energy-saving solutions for MRI imaging systems.
